Adding & Changing TAX to 12.5

The new rate of VAT for the tourist and hospitality industry will be 12.5% from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. The temporary 5% rate ended on 30 September 2021, .

You may not have permissions to add or edit TAX rates on the Microtill Cloud. If you are unable to see the "Tax" menu in step 3, you can request this permission by creating a support ticket  here

Instructions

Adding TAX Rate

  1. Login to the  Microtill Cloud

  2. Click on "Programming" from the left hand menu

  3. Below the "Programming" menu, click on "Tax"

  4. Add a Name, Rate and Tick Add in (VAT)

  5. Click on "Save"


Changing Products TAX Rate

  1. Login to the  Microtill Cloud

  2. Click on "Products" from the left hand menu

  3. Locate the products you wish to change

  4. Select the Tax Rate you wish to be applied to these products

  5. Click on "Save" once finished
